I received the most beautiful phone call last week.  A lovely phone call to let me know that I am a Finalist for the Western Australian Regional Achievement and Community Award for Leadership and Innovation....can't actually believe that I was nominated!!! ...Over 250 entries from all over WA, shortlisted to just 10 Semi-Finalists and then shortlisted again to just three Finalists! The winner will be announced at a Gala Awards Night at the Perth Convention Centre on Friday November 6th!!! I feel so honoured and humbled to know that my rural roadtrips across WA to promote awareness to rural mental health, Indigenous history, suicide awareness, Anorexia awareness, disordered eating and that recovery is possible with so many amazing communities and schools is making a small little difference in this wonderful world.
