Yesterday . . . I received the most wonderful news in the world. Something my literature lovin' heart could only ever dream of and have worked hard towards over the past two years x I received a beautiful phone call from writingWA to inform me that my submission to THE STATE LIBRARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA PRIZE FOR WA HISTORY . . . waaaaaay back in July 2014 (that I had well and truly forgotten about) had been successful and that I had won!!!!!   Well ya could have knocked me over with a feather!! What unbelievable life changing news!!  I had been blessed with a $6000 Award, 100 hours of mentoring and being assigned a staff member of the State Library of Western Australia to support me with my research.
Life throws many literary curve balls along the way and regrettably due to being blessed with a recent and amazing publishing contract from Jane Curry Publishing, I am ineligible to receive the award . . . x This news reiterates my deep faith that our path in life is already mapped out and that we are all exactly where we should be xx  Timing is everything and life will be what it will be  xxx At least I'll have an amazing story to tell my Grandkids one day . . . x   Time is literally flying by with the editing/publishing process of 'Always On My Mind' which is due for official release at the end of March!!!!!
